The Coyote Block 3 Plus (CB3+) loitering munition program is seeking a Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Team Lead. The selected candidate will be assigned to the Land and Air Defense Systems strategic business unit within the Engineering Execution department. This leader will oversee Systems Engineering and Integration & Test execution as the program completes system requirement verification while supporting production for a Joint Emerging Operational Need (JEON). The SEIT team is responsible for documenting objective verification evidence to support the successful completion of the program’s Functional Configuration Audit (FCA), conducting technical reviews with the Navy customer, providing Responsible System Engineering (RSE) production support, and participating in customer-led “fly-to-buy” field tests during the production phase. The program utilizes the Earned Value Management System (EVMS), and the SEIT lead will perform Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities to ensure accurate cost and schedule tracking. This is an onsite position located in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do
- Provide technical leadership for a cross-disciplinary engineering team, guiding requirement verification, system integration, field testing, and failure investigations.
- Coordinate with Chief Engineer, Test Architect, Lead System Engineer, and Integrated Product Team (IPT) program leadership to align technical approach and drive consensus on key decisions.
- Manage cost, schedule, and Earned Value reporting for SEIT work scope.
- Plan, prioritize, and allocate tasks across the SEIT team.
- Organize and conduct technical reviews and team meetings to ensure alignment and execution readiness.
- Communicate status, accomplishments, issues, and resource needs to program and functional leadership.
- Present technical briefings to the customer program office.
- Mentor and develop SEIT team members.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Program Manager Certification Level six (6) or ability to obtain within one year.
- Prior leadership experience in Systems Engineering or System Integration & Test, including requirements development, verification, and documentation of objective evidence.
- Experience conducting technical and program reviews such as Consent to Ship, Test Readiness, Functional Configuration Audit, and/or Estimate at Completion financial reviews.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued INTERIM-SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

- Ability to conduct trade studies and analyses to inform program decisions.
- Experience in leading failure investigations to identify root cause and corrective actions.
- Experience planning and executing system integration and field test events.
- Experience with requirements development and management throughout the system lifecycle.
- Experience with architecture development supporting Concept of Operations, system, and System of System analyses.
- Experience managing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Test Requirements Documents (TRDs).
- Working knowledge of configuration management and documentation control processes.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
