The PW4000 112” Program Manager, within Operational Commercial Engines (OCE) is a core member of the integrated program management team (IPMT), having delegated responsibility and authority to drive and ensure all program objectives are adequately aligned and addressed across enterprise organizations for the PW4000 112” program, consistent with Raytheon Life Cycle Management (RLPM).  These objectives include safety, reliability, business, financial, operational and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop integrated program plans and align enterprise decisions in support program objectives, safety and reliability of fleet.
  • Lead the 112” program office team members in driving cross-functional enterprise team performance of program task execution and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of program resources, budget, and schedule
  • Ensure all model program, technical, and logistics issues relating to quality escapes, repairs, warranty support, proposals, cost reduction initiatives, engineering changes, new engine production, aftermarket services service bulletin priority and fleet risk management are aligned and addressed by cognizant IPMT functional leadership.
  • Resolve conflicting program priorities among enterprise stakeholder organizations.
  • Prime interface with customer on program planning, reporting of financial tracking and schedules. Establish customer satisfaction goals for program and ensures they are met
  • Manage contract and program Level 1 milestone flow down to CIPTs and Systems groups in concert with program model management and program Chief Engineers
  • Supports compliance with RLPM process, P&W policies and procedures and risk management.
  • Review and approval of aftermarket business strategies to achieve program objectives.
  • Present at regular intervals to external customer, partner and supplier reviews such as airframe working together teams, program reviews, business reviews etc.
  • Regular internal senior executive level reviews, such as IPMT, monthly business reviews, safety board, daily event leadership reviews, etc.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other Technical Field and 12 years’ experience; Or Advanced Degree and 10 years of experience to include the following:
  • Program-level leadership experience executing and growing large programs using all available enterprise tools and/or systems
  • Successfully leadership of enterprise-wide cross-functional teams to meet overall business objectives.
  • Experience balancing technical, cost, schedule and all other internal and external constraints to achieve optimal results.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Program Management or technical team leadership certifications a plus
  • Experience utilizing program-management practices including scheduling (MS Project), and/or earned value-management-systems (EVMS), financial systems and program control, risk and opportunity (R&O)-management
  • Experience with creating integrated management schedules
  • Ability to develop and present material to cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with cross functional teams and organizations
  • Demonstrated innovative ‘out of the box’ thinking to support business goals
  • Excellent computer skills, i.e., must be able to develop senior leadership briefing and effectively present briefings

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
