What You Will Do
Join our team as a Product Quality Co-Op, where you will gain hands-on experience ensuring the highest standards of manufacturing quality. Collaborate with product quality teams in Cedar Rapids to support critical initiatives aimed at improving processes and outcomes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in quality assurance and contribute to impactful projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting product quality teams in reviewing defects and conducting scrap analysis.
  • Providing manufacturing support to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within production processes.
  • Participating in root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions for quality issues.
  • Supporting proactive quality initiatives to prevent defects and optimize performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with quality protocols and objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an Aerospace Engineering, Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
  • Experience in quality-related tasks.
  • Experience may be obtained through coursework, research, projects, or on-the-job experience.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Prior internship, co-op, or work experience with Raytheon Technologies (RTX).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
