Introduction to the Job

As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play a critical role in strengthening manufacturing performance, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement across factory operations.
This Senior Production Engineer position combines technical leadership, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration to improve manufacturing capabilities and support factory growth. You will help create scalable production solutions, mentor engineers, and lead initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Production Engineer, you will provide technical leadership for manufacturing processes while helping teams solve complex production challenges. You will influence factory strategy, support industrialization efforts, and drive sustainable improvements that deliver measurable business results.
You will:
- Lead manufacturing process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Drive new product introduction activities and ensure manufacturing readiness.
- Provide technical leadership for complex production issues and root cause investigations.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Define and standardize manufacturing workflows across production areas.
- Mentor and develop engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and program teams to solve systemic challenges.
Education and Experience
To be successful in this Senior Production Engineer role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production engineering, manufacturing engineering, or industrialization.
- Experience leading process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience supporting manufacturing operations and new product introductions.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Experience working with enterprise manufacturing systems and production environments.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. The current base salary range for this role is currently $102,375- $150,000
Additional Responsibilities: There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
