WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Supply Chain Intern/Co-op at AMD, you will join the Supply Chain Organization and support key planning and execution teams, including Capacity Planning, Global Logistics, and PIB (Processor in a Box) Planning. You will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations while working closely with cross-functional partners across the business.
In this role, you will:
Support capacity planning, logistics visibility, and PIB planning initiatives for AMD products, including HPC and retail offerings.
Analyze supply chain data to identify capacity constraints, risks, and improvement opportunities, and model scenarios to support short- and long-term planning.
Assist in solving complex supply chain problems related to forecasting, inventory, throughput, and capacity alignment.
Develop, maintain, and enhance metrics, dashboards, and leading indicators that provide clear business insights and enable data-driven decision-making.
Partner with automation, IT, and analytics teams to streamline manual processes and improve data accuracy through digital transformation.
Support the creation and documentation of key supply chain processes, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and End-of-Life (EOL) planning.
Contribute to program management activities, including milestone tracking, executive updates, and alignment to quarterly business objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Customer Support, Logistics, Factory Planning, Product Planning, Sales, Finance, and Business Unit partners.
Prepare and present actionable insights and recommendations to management using data visualization and presentation tools.
Participate in initiatives to improve supply chain visibility, automation, and operational efficiency across the organization

Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in:
Industrial Engineering
Supply Chain Management
Business Analytics
Information Systems
Business Administration / Operations
Or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong PowerPoint proficiency.
Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
Positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset with a strong desire to learn.
Prior supply chain, logistics, or operations experience.
Experience with Power BI, dashboards, and data visualization.
Knowledge of SQL, DAX, VBA, or data science concepts.
Familiarity with MRP systems, capacity modeling, or program management methodologies.
Experience working with large datasets and automation initiatives.
