Responsibilities
- Research, implement, and optimize 3D rendering of sensor data using GenAI/ML and 3D graphics.
- Develop realism metrics with V&V to demonstrate improved sensor fidelity.
- Collaborate with Perception and Safety teams to enhance realism of sensor simulations.
- Improve rendering and ML inference tools for generating realistic data at scale.
- Access and utilize high-quality sensor data for testing and validation.
- Iterate on algorithms to close the gap between simulation and reality.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure high fidelity synthetic data generation.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience or a PhD in relevant fields.
- Proficiency in Python and/or modern C++.
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow.
- Familiarity with 3D graphics algorithms and camera models.
- Strong mathematical skills, particularly in 3D linear algebra and probabilistic techniques.
- Bonus: Experience with generative models and applications like Houdini or Blender.
- Bonus: Experience in 3D rendering for simulation, games, or VFX.
