Responsibilities
- Research, implement, and optimize 3D rendering of sensor data using GenAI/ML and 3D graphics.
- Develop realism metrics with V&V to demonstrate the impact of sensor fidelity improvements.
- Collaborate with Perception and Safety teams to enhance the realism of sensor simulations.
- Improve rendering and ML inference tooling for generating realistic data at scale.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience or a PhD in relevant fields.
- Experience in developing neural rendering techniques like Gaussian Splatting or NeRFs.
- Proficiency in Python and/or modern C++.
- Knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with 3D graphics algorithms and strong mathematical skills in linear algebra.
- Bonus: Master's or PhD in computer science, mathematics, or physics.
- Experience with generative models for 3D content pipelines (e.g., Houdini, Maya, Blender).
