Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes (assembly, integration, test processes).
- Lead production electrical failure root cause analyses and troubleshooting.
- Drive yield improvement through process changes as a technical lead on electrical systems.
- Develop standard rework procedures and improve test coverage.
- Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodologies.
- Collaborate with production teams on the shop floor to implement new processes.
- Conduct independent development work and failure root cause analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in electro-optical hardware development and circuit design.
- Proficiency in CAD skills for developing integrated automation layouts.
- Experience with design or testing of circuit boards with microcontrollers or FPGAs.
- Preferred MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years’ industry experience.
- Knowledge of quality metrics, process characterization, and continuous process improvement.
- Familiarity with digital interface protocols and hardware/software tools for test automation.
