Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical expert in deploying high-reliability, autonomous systems.
- Own system and subsystem requirement definition, decomposition, and traceability.
- Define interfaces and facilitate cross-disciplinary discussions.
- Develop frameworks and conduct trade studies for performance, safety, and cost optimization.
- Evaluate hardware and software release standards and test requirements.
- Collaborate with design engineering and certification teams to ensure flight worthiness.
- Solve complex multidisciplinary problems independently.
Job Requirements
- BS and/or MS in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in safety-critical electromechanical systems.
- Ability to solve complex problems on schedule independently.
- Knowledge in designing resilient systems for harsh environments.
- Experience with fail-safe and fail-operative modes.
- Leadership skills in systems engineering processes.
- Familiarity with energy budgets and statistical analysis methods.
