Responsibilities
- Design production, development, test, integration, and advanced manufacturing tooling and equipment.
- Integrate concepts and principles of mechanical design and analysis for multiple projects.
- Interpret and apply design and drafting standards when creating drawings.
- Address technical design challenges related to assembly fixtures and custom machines.
- Collaborate with component designers and manufacturing engineers to optimize project metrics.
- Manage projects related to vendor selection, fabrication, and equipment installation.
- Set and maintain schedules and budgets for project completion.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in Engineering with 0-3 years of experience.
- Ability to perform hand calculations and create Freebody diagrams.
- Experience with CAD-based design software for modeling and drafting.
- Basic understanding of common manufacturing materials and tolerance analysis.
- Strong expertise in design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Familiarity with mechanical equipment design and common manufacturing processes.
- Experience with CAD/PDM systems and analysis software.
