Responsibilities
- Support initiatives to improve the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes through automation.
- Electrical design and modification of industrial control and safety systems.
- Design and modification of PLC and Robot programs.
- Design of process control systems (Torque Tools, Machine Vision, etc.).
- Design and development of data collection solutions.
- Support the development of SCADA applications (Ignition, Kepware, AWS, etc.).
- Collaborate with data-science and analytics teams for control system development.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years experience with common automation software development languages (ex. Ladder, ST, C/C++).
- 6+ years experience with controls and automation software development environments (ex. Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Control Logix).
- 3+ years experience with 'from scratch' software development used in automated tooling or equipment.
- Ability to interpret and review electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong skills for design and process simplification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- B.S. degree or higher in a relevant engineering field is desired.
