Responsibilities
- Support initiatives to improve the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes through automation.
- Conduct electrical design and modification of industrial control and safety systems.
- Design and modify PLC and Robot programs.
- Develop process control systems including Torque Tools and Machine Vision.
- Create data collection solutions.
- Support the development of SCADA applications.
- Collaborate with data-science teams for closed-loop data-driven enhancements.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with common automation software development languages (e.g., Ladder, ST, C/C++).
- 6+ years of experience with controls and automation software development environments.
- 3+ years of experience with 'from scratch' software development used in automated tooling or equipment.
- Ability to interpret and review electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Strong skills for design and process simplification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field (desired).
