Responsibilities
- Develop concepts based on product and engineering requirements.
- Use 2D and 3D CAD tools to design parts and assemblies.
- Design, build, and test prototypes to gather quick learnings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams and suppliers to review designs.
- Design and run electro-mechanical testers for component reliability.
- Root cause failures and develop tests to replicate failure modes.
- Document work for clarity on key decisions made.
Job Requirements
- Completed at least the second year of undergraduate studies; Masters and PhD students are eligible.
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals for structural analysis and design.
- Experience with automation and actuators (e.g., Raspberry Pi).
- Proficiency in CAD with multiple project designs.
- Experience working on complex mechanical, electrical, and software projects.
- Ability to adapt quickly and communicate effectively with the team.
- A proactive attitude towards solving critical problems.
