Responsibilities
- Develop manufacturing and integration processes for turbomachinery components and assemblies.
- Implement new manufacturing capabilities and resolve conflicting requirements.
- Optimize existing processes based on measurement or test data.
- Design tooling and processes for balance correction methods.
- Drive innovative production processes to meet high rate production targets.
- Collaborate with design and fabrication teams to ensure parts are built and assembled.
- Interface with production technicians and engineering teams daily.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 1+ years of industry experience in propulsion or power generation product design or fabrication.
- 3+ years of experience with turbomachinery preferred.
- Expertise in design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Experience in a medium/high-volume production environment in aerospace.
- Willingness to travel up to 5%.
- Ability to handle hands-on work and work in a dynamic team environment.
