Responsibilities
- Design and develop novel mechanical solutions for electro-mechanical systems.
- Oversee designs through the entire product design process, from design to production.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable, inspectable, and scalable.
- Collaborate with software, integration, production, suppliers, and test teams.
- Conduct prototyping and quick iterations on owned projects.
- Analyze structural components and mechanisms to identify worst-case loads.
- Utilize CAD tools for system-level ownership of multiple parts.
Job Requirements
- 1–12+ years of experience in designing electromechanical and structural assemblies.
- Proven track record in managing complex subassemblies or full systems.
- Proficiency in CAD for system-level design.
- Experience working with suppliers for design feedback.
- Strong understanding of GD&T, FEA, and design for assembly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to perform hand calculations for structural integrity.
