Responsibilities
- Develop novel mechanical designs for electromechanical systems.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable, inspectable, and scalable.
- Collaborate with software, integration, production, suppliers, and testing teams.
- Manage projects through the product design process from conception to deployment.
- Conduct analysis and testing of structural components and mechanisms.
- Utilize CAD tools for system-level design and prototyping.
- Oversee the integration of designs into production and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Job Requirements
- 3-12+ years of experience in designing electromechanical and structural assemblies.
- Proficiency in CAD for managing multiple parts in designs.
- Experience with complex subassemblies and full systems.
- Knowledge of GD&T, FEA, and design for assembly.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.
- Experience with high-volume electromechanical assemblies and thermal design principles.
- Familiarity with testing and validation processes for hardware.
