Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the aerodynamics team.
- Conceptual design for new vehicles and hardware revisions.
- Build validated aerodynamic plant models through testing.
- Advanced surfacing of wetted surfaces for mechanical design.
- Design propellers for low noise and high efficiency.
- Maintain test hardware and methods, including wind tunnels.
- Develop essential aero measurement tools.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience.
- Proven leadership or readiness to manage a small team.
- Experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools.
- Skills in generative design using advanced surfacing techniques.
- Hands-on experience in experimental aerodynamics.
- Fundamental understanding of aero dynamics and aircraft design.
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
