Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of system improvements for the Platform 2 system.
- Conduct Mechanical and Electrical design work to create and improve tools and fixtures for flight maintenance.
- Evaluate and streamline existing processes and policies to enhance team efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to update technical documentation for aircraft and ground infrastructure.
- Analyze repair and work order data using tools like SQL and Python for root cause and corrective action initiatives.
- Tackle complex engineering problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel to flight test sites for hands-on development and testing.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Mechanical/Electrical design, prototyping, and CAD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Linux, log analysis, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems.
- Experience in data analysis using SQL and Python.
- Experience in reliability analysis and root cause analysis.
- Strong project management skills.
- Willingness to travel to test sites for hands-on development and testing.
