Responsibilities
- Characterize and evaluate the thermal performance of high-power server/rack designs using various lab equipment.
- Collaborate, develop, and execute test plans and strategies in a timely manner.
- Setup, troubleshoot, and debug systems in the Linux environment.
- Improve testing environments and execution strategies within owned hardware programs.
- Design and develop new lab equipment as needed.
- Manage inventory of prototype devices and enforce lab safety.
- Generate test reports and perform data analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in a thermal design/test technical environment.
- Experience with hyperscale air/liquid cooled data center environments and Linux testing.
- Proficiency in scripting and excellent software skills (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, Linux).
- Experience with thermal cooling technologies and test strategy development.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Preferred Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant field.
