Responsibilities

  • Prototyping new battery charging electronics for harsh environments.
  • Architecting ground support electronics for take-off and landing assistance.
  • Developing and deploying test equipment for design validation and production.
  • Supporting design validation campaigns to ensure avionics meet reliability requirements.
  • Conducting root cause investigations for product issues from testing or field operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and operations.
  • Communicating technical concepts clearly to various stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Must have completed at least the second year of undergraduate studies; Master's and PhD students are eligible.
  • Experience designing and testing a custom circuit board.
  • Involvement in a project that moved under its own power (e.g., drone, car, etc.).
  • Collaboration on engineering projects as part of a group.
  • A sample of work or note about prior experience related to engineering is preferred.
  • Strong grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to define requirements and develop creative solutions.
