The Electrical Engineer will work within the electrical engineering team at ZeroAvia, focusing on the delivery of power and control electronics and harnessing from concept design through validation and production, with a strong emphasis on electrical engineering and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Technical ownership and delivery of electrical designs for Fuel Cell Aircraft Powerplants.
- Provide engineering support for development of electronic hardware systems.
- Interface with suppliers and other engineering teams for subsystem requirements.
- Design, plan, and test various power electronic components.
- Ensure successful integration with other subsystems.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team for development and integration.
- Conduct circuit simulation using Matlab/Simulink/PSpice.
Job Requirements
- Experience in design and testing of high voltage (>1kV) EV systems.
- Experience in design and testing high current (>1kA) EV harnesses.
- Proficient in design and building HV Battery and Fuel Cell systems.
- Knowledge of wiring and harness design software tools.
- Experience drafting Electrical System Schematics and Wiring Diagrams.
- Familiarity with EMC requirements for EDU components.
- Experience with ECAD packages and PCB design tools.
