Responsibilities
- Act as Design Authority for maritime scope area.
- Provide technical leadership on maritime projects.
- Define and interpret high-level engineering requirements.
- Support technical project meetings and provide guidance.
- Review and approve technical work products for design accuracy.
- Co-chair the Change Control Board and approve design changes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and quality assurance requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture, etc.).
- 10+ years of engineering experience in complex product development.
- 5+ years in the maritime industry (vessel design, marine systems engineering).
- Experience in a technical leadership role.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Proven experience in regulated environments (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills for complex technical concepts.
