Responsibilities
- Design and integrate vacuum pumping and high purity gas delivery subsystems.
- Develop and release Plumbing & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Apply strong fundamentals in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics to guide design decisions.
- Select and integrate key components including pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
- Author component specifications and manage suppliers through design and delivery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure system compatibility and resolve integration challenges.
- Lead and participate in component- and system-level testing, including data analysis and reporting.
Job Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering (or equivalent discipline).
- 5+ years of experience engineering vacuum or gas delivery systems.
- Proven experience in vacuum system design and/or test.
- Strong understanding of valves, pressure vessels, and related hardware.
- Knowledge of fabrication and integration processes.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
