Responsibilities
- Learn to use power systems modeling and analysis software (e.g., PSSE, TARA).
- Automate existing processes.
- Assist with updates, data maintenance, and analysis.
- Perform power systems studies and reporting under guidance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Showcase engineering capabilities in transmission system modeling.
- Network and learn with other interns across the organization.
Job Requirements
- Current student, Junior status (as of May 2026) or higher.
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Renewable Energy.
- Ability to commute to corporate offices in MN, CO, or TX.
- Availability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the fall/spring.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering circuits and introductory programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab, C++).
- Completion of energy systems courses is a plus.
