Responsibilities
- Learn to use power systems modeling and analysis software (e.g., PSSE, TARA).
- Automate existing processes.
- Assist with updates, data maintenance, and analysis.
- Perform power systems studies and reporting under guidance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Showcase engineering capabilities in transmission system modeling.
- Participate in hands-on training and networking with other interns.
Job Requirements
- Current student with Junior status or higher, pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Renewable Energy, or equivalent.
- Ability to commute to corporate offices in specified locations.
- Availability to work full-time during summer and part-time during fall/spring.
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering circuits; completion of a power systems course is a plus.
- Introductory programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab, C++).
- Completion of energy systems courses is a plus.
