Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems and equipment, conducting feasibility studies and testing.
- Create detailed part and assembly drawings.
- Write test, alignment, manufacturing procedures, and service manuals.
- Develop and build test stands to demonstrate design compliance with requirements.
- Provide solutions for structural and system dynamics in precision mechanisms.
- Perform hand calculations and computer simulations for parts verification.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement design best practices.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of physics and mechanics.
- Ability to generate concepts for complicated mechanical systems.
- Experience in high-level mechanical design, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in 3D solid modeling CAD, preferably ProE/Creo.
- Desirable experience in semiconductor equipment, precision mechanisms, and analysis techniques.
