Responsibilities
- Driving requirement specification
- Conduct feasibility studies
- Conceptual and detailed design using 3D solid modeling (ProE/Creo)
- Conducting various analyses (fluid, thermal, vibrational, and FEA modeling)
- Understanding of Geometric Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Prototype assembly and testing
- System integration and testing
Job Requirements
- Master's Level Degree and 2 years related work experience or Bachelor's Level Degree and 3+ years related work experience
- Experience in 3D solid modeling (Creo or Solidworks preferred)
- Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, sheet metal forming)
- Familiarity with opto-mechanical systems and vacuum systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to adapt and persevere in a fast-paced environment
