Responsibilities
- Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging.
- Create detailed part and assembly drawings.
- Write test, alignment, manufacturing procedures, and service manuals.
- Responsible for the design process from requirements specification to testing and debugging.
- Develop and build test stands to demonstrate designs meet requirements.
- Provide solutions for structural and system dynamics for precision mechanisms.
- Perform calculations and simulations to verify functionality of parts and mechanisms.
Job Requirements
- Good understanding of physics and mechanics.
- Ability to generate component or assembly level concepts for complex mechanical systems.
- High-level mechanical design, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in 3D solid modeling CAD, preferably ProE/Creo.
- Experience in semiconductor equipment or related fields is desirable.
