Responsibilities
- Conduct deep dive and rapid response triage failure analysis investigations.
- Specialize in power electronics, HVDB, DC/DC charging, inverters, and energy storage systems.
- Utilize high voltage test equipment for failure analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define needs for failure analysis.
- Prepare and present failure analysis reports to project teams and executives.
- Work with reliability engineering to recreate failure modes.
- Maintain a dialogue on the capabilities of the failure analysis team.
Job Requirements
- MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in testing and analysis of electrical components and systems.
- Experience in failure analysis investigations is required.
- Hands-on experience with metrology and high voltage failure analysis equipment.
- Familiarity with lithium-ion battery chemistries and failure mechanisms is desirable.
- Experience in preparing formal reports summarizing analysis results.
