Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture definition for aircraft power systems, including motor inverters and battery chargers.
- Define the battery strategy, including cell selection and battery pack design.
- Identify and validate technologies to enhance flight endurance and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex power issues in drone and ground systems.
- Establish testing strategies for functional verification and reliability.
- Collaborate with mechanical and embedded software teams for system optimization.
- Guide power systems through safety audits and regulatory certification processes.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in power electronics product development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Expertise in high-density power electronics and motor control techniques.
- Proven experience with advanced energy storage systems and Battery Management Systems.
- Ability to define electrical architectures and communication protocols.
- Experience in leading verification strategies and debugging for high-power systems.
- Strong communication skills for influencing leadership and mentoring engineers.
