Responsibilities
- Own critical parts of the next generation WHOOP hardware products.
- Design, prototype, and test complex mechanical components around microelectronics.
- Develop and present multiple design solutions for technical challenges.
- Generate technical documentation such as 3D files, 2D drawings, and BOMs.
- Communicate engineering requests and changes to vendors and contract manufacturers.
- Support planning and execution of verification and validation plans.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to evaluate new technologies and manufacturing methods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the design of complex mechanical products.
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD best practices.
- Hands-on experience in operating rapid prototyping tools.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in high-quality consumer electronics or wearable technologies preferred.
- Familiarity with validation testing methods and statistical analysis tools preferred.
