Responsibilities
- Apply test-design and manufacturing principles to create reliable mechanical test fixtures.
- Design, prototype, and iterate on mechanical fixtures using SolidWorks.
- Own CAD development and documentation packages ensuring accuracy through changes.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers for fixture readiness and support build processes.
- Support mechanical and electrical debugging activities and document findings.
- Improve documentation practices using PLM systems and change-control processes.
- Contribute to cross-functional collaboration by communicating technical decisions and supporting process improvements.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in designing complex mechanical products.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, especially SolidWorks, and experience in mechanical debugging.
- Strong project-management and communication skills.
- Ability to create accurate engineering documentation and navigate PLM systems.
- Familiarity with basic electrical concepts and comfort in supporting electrical debugging.
- Understanding of manufacturing concepts and test practices.
