Responsibilities
- Own critical parts of current generation Whoop Hardware Products.
- Design, prototype, and test complex mechanical components around microelectronics.
- Develop and present multiple design solutions for technical challenges.
- Generate technical documentation such as 3D files and bills of material (BOM’s).
- Communicate engineering requests and conduct DfM reviews with vendors.
- Drive second sourcing initiatives for mechanical components.
- Support planning and execution of verification and validation plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the design of complex mechanical products.
- Experience with SolidWorks CAD best practices.
- Familiarity with second sourcing and risk mitigation strategies.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes preferred.
