Responsibilities
- Participate in introductory thermal hydraulic design training and seminars.
- Acquire knowledge about reactor core thermal hydraulic design and key fuel features.
- Perform thermal hydraulic design analyses using internal subchannel codes.
- Follow approved methodologies for thermal hydraulic design.
- Collaborate with industry professionals on fuel rod design.
- Learn technical and professional aspects of working in the nuclear industry.
- Report to the Fuel Rod & Thermal Hydraulic Design Manager.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Complete sophomore year of college.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Computer simulation and programming skills.
- Experience with Linux.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
