Responsibilities
- Support design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale projects.
- Perform physical arrangement of nuclear island structures, equipment, and piping using 3D design software.
- Conduct hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents.
- Author, review, and verify engineering designs using Westinghouse proprietary digital design architecture (WNEXUS).
- Prepare reports to meet regulatory, code, and customer contract requirements.
- Provide engineering support to various organizations, addressing design changes and deviations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Pursuing Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and Professional Engineering licensure (PE).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with 3D design software and engineering analysis tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and documents.
- Commitment to safety and quality in engineering practices.
