Responsibilities
- Support design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of nuclear and non-nuclear projects.
- Perform physical arrangement of nuclear island structures and equipment using 3D design software.
- Conduct hazards evaluations with 3D plant models and analysis software.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and criteria documents.
- Author, review, and verify engineering designs with proprietary digital design architecture (WNEXUS).
- Prepare reports to meet regulatory, code, and customer contract requirements.
- Provide engineering support to fabrication and construction organizations, addressing design changes and deviations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Pursue Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification and Professional Engineering licensure (PE).
- Familiarity with 3D design software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills in engineering contexts.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments.
