Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
- Grow and develop technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
- Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with Westinghouse customers.
- Communicate project status, problem resolution, and engineering recommendations through technical presentations.
- Learn and master engineering software related to mechanical engineering.
- Value safety and quality in all engineering practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
- Prior Westinghouse internship experience is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and passion for technical design and analysis.
- Eagerness to learn about pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power plants.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Desire to obtain Engineering in Training Certification and eventually a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
