The Manufacturing Engineer will work in the Global Instrumentation & Control business, focusing on the production of electro-mechanical instrumentation systems for the commercial nuclear industry.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and develop build sequences for various Safety and Non-Safety Nuclear I&C systems
- Work with I&C hardware design teams to resolve production floor design issues
- Analyze nonconformances and instruct technicians for rework and repair
- Participate in weekly production meetings with various teams
- Collaborate with project teams, shop technicians, QC, QA, supply chain, and planning to drive solutions
- Assist in the development of production order operations with Production Planning and shop Technicians
- Prioritize inspections of procured and manufactured goods with Quality Control
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline
- Understanding of the commercial nuclear industry or other regulated industries
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
