Responsibilities
- Perform design and analyses for reactor component modifications and qualifications.
- Utilize finite element simulations and engineering calculations for component design qualification.
- Collaborate with other leads to integrate subsystems and resolve design issues.
- Develop project schedules in coordination with project managers and subsystem leads.
- Identify technical risks and challenges to ensure successful resolutions.
- Apply relevant industry codes and standards in design activities.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with various partners and stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Engineering Mechanics, or Aerospace preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in component structural analysis or thermo hydraulics.
- Familiarity with industry, regulatory, and nuclear standards.
- Ability to work on-site during plant refueling outages, including extended shifts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with finite element analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
