Responsibilities
- Perform design and analyses for repair and modification of nuclear reactor components.
- Utilize analysis tools such as finite element simulations and engineering calculations.
- Collaborate with component, system, and manufacturing leads on subsystem integration.
- Develop project schedules in coordination with project managers.
- Identify and resolve technical risks and challenges.
- Apply industry regulations and standards relevant to nuclear reactor design.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Engineering Mechanics, or Aerospace preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in Component structural analysis or Thermo Hydraulics.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to nuclear engineering.
- Experience with finite element analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to support plant refueling outages, including shift work.
