Responsibilities
- Perform design and analyses for repair and qualification of components in nuclear power plants.
- Use analysis tools for component design qualification.
- Collaborate with component, system, and manufacturing leads on subsystem integration.
- Develop project schedules with project managers and leads.
- Identify technical risks and direct efforts for resolution.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with external partners.
- Support plant refueling outages, including shifts and overnight work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical or Aerospace preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in component structural analysis or thermo hydraulics.
- Proficiency in finite element simulations and engineering calculations.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to nuclear reactors.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and engineering thoughtfulness.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during plant outages.
