Responsibilities
- Perform design and analyses for nuclear reactor components.
- Use analysis tools for component design qualification.
- Collaborate with leads on subsystem integration and emergent design issues.
- Develop project schedules with project managers.
- Identify and define technical risks and challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and collaborate with external partners.
- Support plant refueling outages, including flexible shift work.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Engineering Mechanics, or Aerospace preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in component structural analysis or thermo hydraulics.
- Proficiency in finite element simulations and engineering calculations.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards relevant to nuclear reactors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and engineering thoughtfulness.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during plant outages.
