Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of industrial control systems and plant computers by analyzing requirements and reviewing design input.
- Implement control logic and HMI displays based on functional design.
- Support calculations including software hazards analysis and Power/Heat load calculations.
- Prepare documents for the design, implementation, and delivery of industrial control systems.
- Prepare and execute test procedures for unit and system level testing.
- Perform V&V related activities to support project quality plans.
- Travel up to 25% to support customer systems and field work opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear.
- 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, or DCS platforms is desired.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and control theory.
- Experience in industrial environments or with control systems is a plus.
- Awareness of field devices typical to the power industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standard drawings such as P&ID and loop diagrams is a plus.
