Responsibilities
- Coordinate with building and facilities services to improve and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Design new products and processes under supervision, improving existing products.
- Conduct design analysis on components to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
- Define process improvements for safety, quality, cost, and control.
- Work independently with known technologies and develop new technologies under supervision.
- Initiate and maintain vendor relationships for laboratory operation efficiency.
- Analyze and evaluate current equipment and measurement protocols for new products.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in a technical field with 3 years of relevant experience or M.S. with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously and in teams.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer-aided design equipment.
- Coding skills in multiple programming languages (e.g., C, Python).
- Familiarity with control systems and data interfaces.
- Experience with statistical analysis and process engineering.
