Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end validation of new hardware including pumps, sensors, and electronics.
- Design and execute bench-level, environmental, and life-cycle tests.
- Develop and run field simulations for various conditions (e.g., saltwater, shock/vibe).
- Lead root-cause investigations of field issues and implement corrective actions.
- Build test rigs and conduct experiments to improve product design.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing to establish quality standards and criteria.
- Document tests, analyze results, and communicate findings across teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in hardware testing, validation, or reliability engineering.
- Strong hands-on skills with hardware test setups and data collection.
- Experience with root cause analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with high-pressure fluid systems and environmental testing.
- Knowledge of reliability standards and automated test scripting (Python preferred).
- Strong communication skills for summarizing findings and driving team alignment.
