Responsibilities
- Own consumer hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production and public launch.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements for system-level optimization.
- Test and iterate on products to ensure high reliability and performance.
- Design and develop production lines for manufacturing, including automation programming.
- Refine production systems for high-rate and reliable manufacturing processes.
- Establish an efficient product lifecycle balancing cost, complexity, and quality.
- Collaborate with partner teams to implement efficient in-house production lines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of professional experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing.
- Preferred experience in high-volume manufacturing or consumer hardware production.
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, or other mechanical components.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
