Responsibilities
- Own consumer hardware from conceptual design through high-volume production and public launch.
- Develop design criteria and collaborate on requirements to drive system-level optimization.
- Test and iterate on products for reliability and performance in diverse environments.
- Design and develop production lines for manufacturing, including robot end effector design and automation programming.
- Refine production systems for high-rate, high-yield, and reliable manufacturing processes.
- Establish an efficient product lifecycle balancing cost, complexity, and quality.
- Collaborate with partner teams to implement efficient in-house production lines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software packages.
- 1+ years of professional experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing or consumer hardware production (preferred).
- Knowledge of pumps, valves, or other mechanical components.
- Knowledge of automation programming and process development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
