Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of the main pump for desalination.
- Ensure the pump meets performance, durability, and efficiency requirements.
- Build and test pump prototypes under real-world conditions.
- Conduct testing for high reliability and low maintenance in various environments.
- Research and select lightweight, corrosion-resistant materials.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams for system integration.
- Design for manufacturability and work with suppliers to refine production methods.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEA software.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing.
- Experience in designing and testing high-pressure pumps or fluid systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics and pump performance optimization.
- Familiarity with high-volume manufacturing techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
