Responsibilities
- Generate mechanical solutions for various product requirements relevant to enterprise hardware.
- Drive new products from proof of concept through to mass production.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering and Industrial Design teams to integrate components and finalize product designs.
- Work with mechanical vendors on design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Oversee tooling release and validation for parts and processes.
- Develop and execute mechanical reliability test plans.
- Assist with failure analysis and troubleshooting during product development.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in designing and manufacturing electronic products.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Hands-on experience with building and testing hardware.
- Experience with overseas supply chains and part vendors.
- Strong passion for designing user-friendly hardware.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and electro-mechanical systems.
