Responsibilities
- Generate mechanical solutions for various product requirements related to enterprise hardware.
- Drive new products from proof of concept to mass production.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering and Industrial Design teams for product integration and testing.
- Work with mechanical vendors for DFM/DFA and initiate parts quoting and production.
- Own tooling release and validation for parts and processes.
- Develop and execute mechanical reliability test plans and DoEs.
- Assist with failure analysis and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Proven track record in designing and manufacturing electronic products.
- Mastery of 3D CAD software.
- Hands-on experience with hardware building and testing.
- Experience with overseas supply chains and part vendors.
- Passion for designing user-friendly hardware.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design and electro-mechanical systems.
