Responsibilities
- Generate mechanical solutions for various product requirements relevant to enterprise hardware.
- Drive new products from initial proof of concept through to mass production.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering and Industrial Design teams on product integration and concepts.
- Work with mechanical vendors on DFM/DFA and manage tooling release and validation.
- Develop and execute mechanical reliability test plans.
- Assist with failure analysis and root cause analysis.
- Steer product concepts through validation builds into mass production.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Track record of designing and manufacturing enterprise or consumer electronic products.
- Mastery of 3D CAD software.
- Hands-on experience with building and testing hardware.
- Experience working with an overseas supply chain and part vendors.
- Passion for designing user-friendly hardware.
- End-to-end product development experience.
