Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership of power electronics specification, architecture, and simulation.
- Design circuits for power conversion, load switching, and fault detection.
- Perform failure modes and effects analyses.
- Drive reliability design and validation plans at the system level.
- Mechanical packaging design and board-level validation.
- Engage in integrated system-level validation.
- Collaborate with the Manager, Power Electronics, and other team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (completed or expected by June 2026).
- Demonstrated experience in developing power electronics.
- Problem-solving skills with a focus on risk assessment.
- Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition tools.
- Familiarity with software programming (Matlab, Python, C/C++).
- Knowledge of vehicle and instrumentation buses (Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C).
- Experience designing electronics for spaceflight environments.
