Responsibilities
- Advance the design of E-2 with the team and Chief Engineer, creating models and drawings.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to create finished E-2 parts, supporting manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the assembly and testing of propulsion components.
- Create schematics and document engineering processes.
- Participate in engine testing and troubleshoot as needed.
- Provide regular updates on progress and issues to the team.
- Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, development, fabrication, assembly, or testing (internships included).
- Hands-on engineering skills and ability to work independently and as a team.
- Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred) and knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with ANSYS and MATLAB is preferred.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted and work in outdoor environments.
