Responsibilities
- Design parts and assemblies for the E-2 engine, including calculations and analyses.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to produce finished E-2 parts through various processes.
- Support assembly and testing of propulsion components.
- Document processes and create schematics.
- Participate in engine testing and assist with troubleshooting.
- Communicate progress and issues effectively with the team.
- Adhere to safety procedures and use personal protective equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, development, fabrication, assembly, or testing (internships included).
- Hands-on engineering skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CAD (NX preferred) and knowledge of GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ANSYS and MATLAB.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted and work in outdoor environments.
