Responsibilities
- Own hardware from design to delivery, ensuring quality avionics products.
- Translate operational requirements into electrical specifications and design documents.
- Perform trade studies to select optimal components and design approaches.
- Design and develop multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) for flight hardware.
- Conduct circuit analysis and utilize simulation tools for design verification.
- Develop and execute test plans for PCBs and integrated systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on PCB design.
- Proficiency in PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro).
- Experience with analog and digital circuit design and communication interfaces.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity and EMI/EMC principles.
- Experience with hardware testing and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with space-grade components and environmental testing for flight hardware.
