Responsibilities
- Lead Mission Control in all aspects from pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight.
- Serve as Flight Director coordinating with ARTCC centers and TRACONs.
- Manage and communicate off-nominal in-flight scenarios requiring escalation.
- Participate in weekly Flight Operations meetings to collaborate on flight schedules.
- Support field launch and recovery teams by relaying critical information.
- Become the subject matter expert of the Mission Control software.
- Train future Mission Controllers and develop educational materials.
Job Requirements
- High Altitude Platform experience.
- UAV/UAS flight operations experience.
- Commercial Pilot training/experience.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations.
- Engineering/Technical background (electrical, mechanical, software).
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must be located near Denver, CO.
