Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical expert for MCAD support across Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design.
- Align CAD practices between engineering and ID for concept iteration and design changes.
- Support ID workflows such as Class-A surfacing and geometry translation.
- Own the full lifecycle of CAD and PLM tools, including evaluation and deployment.
- Lead cross-functional tool initiatives and enforce standards for model structure and data integrity.
- Partner with IT for the deployment and optimization of CAD and PLM infrastructure.
- Own backup and disaster recovery strategies for critical design data.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with MCAD and PLM tools in a hardware environment.
- Deep knowledge of CAD/PLM tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks, Teamcenter).
- Proven experience supporting Mechanical and Industrial Design teams.
- Strong understanding of configuration management and digital workflows.
- Comfortable working at the intersection of engineering, IT, and product development.
- Familiarity with cloud-based PLM and remote collaboration tools (preferred).
- Experience with containerized deployments and cloud infrastructure (preferred).
