Responsibilities
- Influence the Global MFG Test strategy and engage with contract manufacturers and internal partners.
- Manage and develop a team of engineers in the US and Asia for key projects on the product roadmap.
- Develop and implement hardware test systems, including automated and manual testing.
- Provide production support and process improvement, including troubleshooting and training.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance through traceability of test results and preventative measures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate project updates on build progress and challenges.
- Manage internal and external test capabilities to address yield issues and inform builds.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, test engineering, or automation.
- Experience with wearables and consumer electronics at scale.
- Proven leadership in developing test teams across multiple sites.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with development builds and mass production with global partners.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with hardware, firmware, systems, and quality teams.
