Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting upstream and downstream equipment operations
- Monitoring and maintaining existing equipment for successful operations
- Maintaining and executing the Preventive Maintenance Program and suggesting process improvements
- Leading training initiatives on reliability improvements for operators
- Supporting operations in FDA and USDA regulated environments
- Leading project efforts to scale cultivated meat production
- Commissioning and validating new equipment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (chemical, biochemical, mechanical)
- 5+ years of experience in biotechnology, synthetic biology, or pharmaceuticals
- Experience with tangential flow filtration, centrifuges, and bioreactors is a plus
- Enthusiasm for learning and working in fast-paced environments
- Comfortable with medium to large equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement mindset
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple technical teams
