Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting upstream and downstream equipment operations
- Monitoring and maintaining existing equipment for successful operations
- Maintaining and executing the Preventive Maintenance Program and offering process improvements
- Leading training initiatives on reliability improvements for operators
- Supporting operations in FDA and USDA regulated environments
- Leading project efforts to support scaling cultivated meat production
- Commissioning and validating new equipment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (chemical, biochemical, mechanical)
- 5+ years of experience in biotechnology, synthetic biology, or pharmaceuticals
- Experience with tangential flow filtration, centrifuges, chromatography, and bioreactors
- Excitement to learn and improve processes
- Comfort with medium to large equipment
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced and complex environments
- Strong collaboration skills to work with various technical teams and regulatory bodies
