Responsibilities
- Develop, port, debug, and document core firmware for various features like PCI Express and DRAM technologies.
- Support emulation/simulation teams during the pre-silicon phase for SOC validation.
- Work with hardware validation teams to optimize performance of IP subsystems.
- Create custom firmware features for customers.
- Collaborate with technical leads to implement firmware scope within schedules.
- Ensure quality and satisfaction throughout the firmware lifecycle with internal and external teams.
- Maintain organization and coordination with distributed technical teams.
Job Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and low-level programming in C.
- Familiarity with UEFI BIOS development and memory industry standards.
- Understanding of the firmware development cycle and validation for SoC designs.
- Experience with debugging tools and hardware/software interfaces.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
