Responsibilities
- Develop, port, debug, and document core firmware support for various features on AMD SoCs.
- Support emulation/simulation teams during the pre-silicon phase.
- Work with hardware validation teams to verify and optimize IP subsystem performance.
- Develop custom firmware features for internal and external customers.
- Engage with technical leads to understand firmware scope and meet schedules.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure high quality and satisfaction throughout the firmware lifecycle.
- Maintain organization and coordination with distributed technical teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and low-level programming in C.
- Familiarity with multi-root PCI Express subsystems and UEFI BIOS development.
- Understanding of firmware development cycles for SoC designs.
- Experience with debugging tools and hardware/software interfaces.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
