Responsibilities
- Develop firmware and enable features for Infinity Fabric interconnect across AMD products.
- Enhance python-based tools for processing complex data to create hardware initialization binaries.
- Collaborate with architects and IP leads on firmware scope and implementation.
- Conduct unit and integration tests, providing debug support in emulation and post-silicon environments.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Ensure high quality and satisfaction throughout the firmware lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in the firmware development cycle and verification/validation for SoC designs.
- Expertise in low-level C programming and debugging for embedded systems.
- Strong skills in Python and Linux scripting for data processing.
- Background in computer architecture and familiarity with memory interleaving and NUMA concepts.
- Experience with board and processor/ASIC bring-up and testing.
- Proficiency in hardware/software interfaces and debugging at various system levels.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with a self-starter attitude.
