Responsibilities
- Develop firmware and enable features in the Infinity Fabric interconnect for AMD products.
- Enhance python-based tools for processing data to create hardware initialization binaries.
- Collaborate with architects and IP leads on firmware scope and implementation details.
- Perform unit and integration tests, providing debug support in various environments.
- Participate in design and code reviews.
- Ensure high quality and satisfaction throughout the firmware lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in the firmware development cycle and understanding of verification/validation for SoC designs.
- Expertise in low-level C programming and software optimization for embedded systems.
- Strong skills in Python and Linux scripting for data processing.
- Background in computer architecture and familiarity with memory interleaving and NUMA concepts.
- Experience in board, processor/ASIC bring-up and testing platforms.
- Strong debugging skills at the IP, subsystem, and system level.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
