Responsibilities
- Contribute to mechanical solutions in a cross-functional team.
- Model, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems.
- Work across the entire product development cycle, from concept to shipping.
- Collaborate and manage work with Asia-based Supply Chain.
- Innovate on state-of-the-art technologies and solve complex mechanical problems.
- Travel to external vendors up to 20%.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience in related fields.
- Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Knowledge of material properties and high-volume manufacturing techniques.
- Testing and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation, etc.).
- Proven technical communication skills.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering and experience with handheld/wearable consumer electronics.
