Responsibilities
- Design metallic structures and propulsion fluid systems under accelerated timelines
- Review specifications and engineering data to develop mechanical systems
- Update designs and drawings through engineering change orders
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings with GD&T understanding
- Collaborate with teams to achieve unified design direction
- Manage large assembly models and drawings
- Ensure compliance with ITAR requirements for technology access
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
- 3+ years of mechanical design and drafting experience
- Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Solid understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
- Spacecraft design experience
- Ability to obtain a Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication, and documentation skills
