Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems and structures for advanced satellites.
- Develop detailed and organized 3D CAD models for spacecraft components, subsystems, and assemblies.
- Create detailed piece part and assembly drawings of flight components.
- Support build/assembly and test campaigns of flight systems.
- Collaborate with structural, thermal, and propulsion teams to validate designs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for design efficiency and system performance.
- Oversee end-to-end development of mechanical structures from concept to flight hardware delivery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 12+ years of professional experience in Space Mechanisms.
- Experience with spacecraft level mechanical architecture and design.
- Mastery in CAD tools, such as SolidWorks.
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for the space industry.
