Responsibilities
- Assist in CAD design for robotic platforms and manipulators.
- Integrate 3rd party electromechanical devices into designs.
- Create shell designs for aesthetics and mounting purposes.
- Fit electrical components within protective enclosures.
- Design modular mounting systems with maintenance ease.
- Conduct wiring of components and design cable runs.
- Participate in the prototyping and iteration of designs.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion360, AutoCAD, Solidworks, PTC Creo).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Strong desire to learn and improve engineering skills.
- Capability to conceptualize and discuss 3D designs.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing and assembly principles.
- Understanding of tolerance analysis and material selection.
