Responsibilities
- Perform CAD work to support robotic projects.
- Integrate electromechanical devices into robotic systems.
- Design shell aesthetics and mounting rails for platforms.
- Fit electrical components within protective enclosures.
- Wire components and design cable runs and connectors.
- Ensure weatherproofing of robotic systems.
- Collaborate on design processes for robotic manipulators.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software (Fusion360, AutoCAD, Solidworks).
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently after receiving high-level tasks.
- Strong desire to learn and improve engineering skills.
- Capability to conceptualize and discuss 3D parts.
- Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and project discussions.
