Responsibilities
- Manage RFQ processes and ensure commercial terms are documented.
- Negotiate piece price and tooling to meet best-in-class pricing and quality standards.
- Develop category management plans, monitor market conditions, and create sourcing strategies.
- Track global industry trends and partner with Design teams to address supply and demand challenges.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance, and dispute resolution.
- Participate in Design for Manufacturability reviews and lead cost-related decisions.
- Oversee project timelines and maintain action trackers and program management tools.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain or commodity management.
- Background in electro-mechanical or electrical component sourcing.
- Master’s degree in related areas is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to travel up to 25%.
- Analytical skills to build cost models and forecasts.
- Knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering concepts related to sourcing.
- Proficient in technical design requirements and influencing cross-functional partners.
